Each round saw a slight percentage increase of 3% (3.38%) compared to last year’s tournament.
An increase of 3.48% will be paid to the Australian Open champion in 2023, for example. A 3.17% increase is given to the runner-up, who gets $1,625,000.
First-round losers bag themselves $106,250 more than in 2022, or 3.16% more than in 2016.
